THE EDWIN L. CRAWFORD MEMORIAL LECTURE ON MUNICIPAL LAW

The Crawford Lecture on Municipal Law- held annually during the fall semester - promotes dialogue on issues affecting local government. The lecture series was established in 1996 in memory of Edwin L. Crawford, former Executive Director of the Albany-based New York State Association of Counties. An attorney, public servant, and advocate for local governments, Crawford lobbied on behalf of small municipalities he felt were neglected or abused by state government.
